Devayani

Devayani (Tamil தேவயானி) is a Tamil actress who was born on June 22,1974 in Mumbai (Bombay), India. Her real name is Sushma. Besides Tamil, she has done films in Bengali, Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu.

She started her career with a Hindi film called Koyal which was cancelled followed by a few Malayalam films. In one part, when she was interviewed by Anu Haasan, she said, My friend who knew my first film (Hindi) was cancelled, she said it was good!. She laughed. Her first Tamil film is Thottaa Chinungi where she played her only glamorous role to date.
