Danny Boyle

Danny Boyle is a Golden Globe award-winning English director and film producer, best known for his work on films such as Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Sunshine, and Slumdog Millionaire.

Boyle was born in Radcliffe, Lancashire into a working-class Irish Catholic family. His mother was from Ballinasloe, Co Galway, and his father was born in England, but to an Irish family.
