Prajarajyam Party chief and actor Chiranjeevi survived a narrow escape while he was trying to cross a high voltage live wire. The incident occurred during Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election campaign at Gauthamnagar area in Malkajgir assembly segment.
While trying to remove the wires with sticks, two of them had a contact which lead to a great spark. Chiranjeevi, standing near to the place just ducked that made him uninjured. He continued the election after that.
His brother Pavan Kalyan also faced the same danger while doing the election campaign for his brother in one of the Telangana district. He escaped since there was no power. The incident, however throws light on the danger caused by the dangling wires across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and IT Hub.
