Allu Arjun is playing the hero in the Telugu movie Varudu directed by Gunasekhar and produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of Universal Media. The film is being presently shot at Alleppey in Kerala.
Giving details, the producer says, “The present schedule was launched on October 28 and would continue till November 10. We are shooting heavy action scenes during this schedule. One more song would also be choreographed. The film is coming up with a fantastic subject and we are making it with high technical values and with a huge budget. Gunasekhar is moulding the film in an extra-ordinary manner. The film would become yet another prestigious movie for our banner. We are introducing a new face as heroine, while Tamil hero Arya is making his debut as villain in Telugu films.”
Suhasini, Naresh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Vinay Prasad and others are in the cast. Music is by Manisharma, cinematography is by RD Rajasekhar, action is by Stun Siva, and art is by Ashok, editing is by Anthony, while story, screenplay and direction are by Gunasekhar.
