The story of the film starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram Srinivas has not yet been finalized. The film has been tittled as
Varudu and it is understood that it will be based loosely on the hit Hindi film
Hum Tum starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead. Mahesh Babu is very much impressed with the film and has asked Trivikram to develop the story along those lines. The shooting will commence from August.
Parvati Melton has already been signed up as the second heroine. Mahesh Babu is searching for first heroine. Names of Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana are being heard for the same. So the search is still on for a glam doll.
