A film to be released in 80s
It is not known why a senior director like Kodi Ramakrishna wanted to fool the audiences with such a jinxed narration, pathetic screenplay and commercial formula flicks. The film should have been released in late 80s or in early 90s and definitely not at this time. At a time, when all the heroes are vying to act in action films to earn a mass image, Rajendrababu, who made his debut appearance through 'Ramana' once again took a wrong choice to play in this film, which has no novelty at all and at the same time Kodi Ramakrishna failed to boost the image of the hero.
Raju (Rajendra Babu) is a wayward thief. Despite that he is good at heart. Masaraiah (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a politician, who had several links with underworld mafia and also the land-grabbing mafia. He manages to kill one realtor through Mandela Srinu. However, Srinu caught by the police after an accidental blast in his room. A CBI officer Ratna Prabha (Ratna Bhattal) takes up investigation. In a bid to escape from the case, Masaraiah wanted to make Prabha as his daughter in law. On the other hand, one Abu (Nischal) with the help of his girl friend Rekha (Jhalak Nandini) lures Raju and able to secure the SIM cards of Srinu's mobile in which the numbers of Masaraiah were stored. But while escaping from the police, Raju enters the wedding function of Prabha and in strange circumstances ties the knot to her. Upon finding that he was ditched by Rekha, Raju decides to save his 'wife' at least from official embarrassment. He tries to kidnap Srinu, but could secure only his dying declaration. With the turn of few events, Raju gets back the SIM cards from Rekha. In the climax, Raju kills Masaraiah and his gang and projects it as an accident.

There is nothing much to say about the film. The performance by Ratna Bhattal as CBI officer and Jhalak Nandini's glamour are the only plus points in the film. Kota Srinivasa Rao also walked with honours as a villain once again. After a long time Prithvi had a full length role in this film as a comedy villain. Comedy track between LB Sriram, Satyam Rajesh and Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao though not very impressive, helped the audiences to keep in good humour.
Poor style of narration, slow movement of the story, use of commercial formula type subject, insipid screenplay from a seasoned director remained minus points for the film. Neither the film elevated the image of the hero, nor have any commercial elements to attract the mass audiences.
Present generation of audiences look for good taking, attractive action scenes, fine choreography of songs and a tight screenplay which could make them sit tight to the seats. But the film did not have any of these qualities. But for a couple of songs (including the one shot at beach with Jhalak Nandini), the film has nothing good to watch. A film which can be conveniently ignored to watch.
