Southern actress Shanvi Srivastav, who recently starred in the Kannada remake of Telugu hit film Prema Katha Chitram, has now signed to star in another remake movie. The Kannada remake of Ala Modalaindi will be directed by actor-turned-director Sadhu Kokila. This movie happens to be the second Kannada remake that Shanvi Srivastav is starring in a row. The actress said, "I have signed the Kannada remake of Ala Modalaindi. We'll start shooting from the end of April."
Shanvi Srivastav, who is also currently awaiting the release of Telugu romantic-drama Pyar Mein Padipoyane, will be seen alongside actor Sumanth in the Kannada remake of Ala Modalaindi. The actresses added, "I guess getting remake offers is much more encouraging because it shows someone trusts your talent and then it becomes our responsibility to do well. It encourages us to perform better."
Ala Modalaindi is a romantic comedy film starring Nani and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film has been a huge success both critically as well as commercially. Having completed 100 days in theatres, the movie has collected Rs 23 crores at the Box Office.
