The division of Andhra Pradesh into Seemandhra and Telangana has caused a big upheaval in all spheres of life in the state. Telugu film industry is biggest victim of this development. The Samaikyandhra supporters' outburst in the Seemandhra region has created uncertainty in the release of the several big budget movies, which were to rock at the Box Office during the festive season of Independence day, Varamahalakshmi festival, Raksha Bandhan and Krishna Janmashtami.

Various activists groups in Seemandha have been holding protest marches and hunger strikes ever since the UPA Government announced its decision to split the state on July 28. They have paralysed the normal life in 13 districts, where public transport, cinema halls, petrol bunks, educational institutions and shops and other establishments have been closed down for a couple of weeks. This continued protests have delayed the releases of a few big-budget movies like Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi and Ram Charan Teja's Yevadu.

Now, the Samaikhyandhra supporters are all set for a showdown in Hyderabad on September 7 and they have already sought permission from the Police Department for it. To counter this, the Osmania University JAC has given a call for a Million March on the same day and they have also filed a request for permission. These movements are sure to force the makers of a few other movie to postpone their release dates.

They have created an uncertainty in the release of a total of 10 big-budget Telugu movies. Continue to see the details of those films in the slideshow.

Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which has been produced with a hefty sum of Rs 40+ crore was to hit the screens on August 7, but the Samaikhyandhra agitations have delayed its release.
