Director VV Vinayak's latest Telugu movie Naayak has opened to a fantabulous response at the collection centres across the globe. The Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul starrer has done a record breaking collection at the worldwide Box Office on the first day of its release, thereby creating new records everywhere. With this, the year 2013 has begun with happy note.
Naayak, which released in 1,600+ screens on Wednesday, January 9, registered an average of 90% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes in the country on its opening day. As per the early trends, the much-hyped action entertainer has collected approximately Rs 11.25 crores at the worldwide Box Office on the first day of its release.
However, Naayak has been carrying huge buzz ever since VV Vinayak announced this project. Prior its release, DVV Danayya has had a massive promotion for this masala entertainer and released it in a large number of screens. In addition, the movie has received positive reviews and rich ratings from both film critics and movie goers. All these factors resulted in an earth-shattering response for the film.

Naayak First Day Collection
Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, which was released on May 11, 2012, had collected Rs 2.81 crores in the Nizam area and it was the all time highest record. Whereas, Ram Charan's Naayak, which hit close to 300 screens in this area has raked in approximately Rs 2.41 crores in this area.
