Talking to IANS, Veerabhadram said, "With just two films old in the industry, I was extremely nervous when I started working with Nag (Nagarjuna) sir. However, the professional that he is at work, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He may be a superstar, but he is definitely every director's delight."
Nagarjuna plays the lead role in the movie Bhai, which also stars Prasanna Venkatesan, Richa Gangopadhyay, Sonu Sood and Nathalia Kaur in supporting roles. The director added, "When I met him to narrate the script, he listened with utmost patience. He even agreed because he loved the script. How many star actors would be willing to produce a film with a newcomer?"
The film Bhai is made keeping Nagarjuna's image in mind. Veerabhadram said, "No matter how good the content is, a superstar needs to be presented in a way his fans will enjoy. Generally, I hunt for actors after I finish my script, but for Bhai, I wrote the script keeping in mind Nag sir and, therefore it was important to do justice to his image."
Bhai is nearing completion and is getting ready for Summer release. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Sameer Reddy. "It's an action flick with good scope for performance. I don't want to reveal the story, but I can promise that it will be different from his other films," said Veerabhadram.
