All Time Highest Grosser Telugu Movies At AP Box Office

The year 2013 seems to be a lucky year for the Telugu film industry as several Tollywood movies have struck gold at the Box Office. Trade experts in the film nagar opine that the industry has scored hit films this year. Interestingly, five Telugu flicks have made it to the list of top 10 all time highest grosser movies at the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Box Office in 2013.

Even more interesting fact is that with Ram Charan Teja starrer Magadheera topping the list of all time highest grosser movies at the AP Box Office, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's recent release Attarintiki Daredi has now landed in the second place. The Trivikram Srinivas-directed film has pushed down the Power Star's previous release Gabbar Singh to the third position. It has set several new records.

Mega family PRO SKN tweeted, "AMAZING NEW RECORD: #AD CEDED share crossed 10crs. #POWERSTAR is the ONLY TFI hero hv 10crs share in 3 regions.1) Overseas 2)Nizam 3)CEDED." He added, "Another DYNAMIC NEW record is ONLY #POWERSTAR hv 6 areas crossed 5crs share with #AD Overseas Nizam Ceded Uttarnadhra Guntur & Karnataka."

Besides Attarintiki Daredi, four other new releases like Mirchi, Naayak, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) and Baadshah have also made it to the list of all time highest grosser movies at the AP Box Office. Continue to see the list in the slideshow.

Magadheera

SS Rajamouli-directed Magadheera, which was made with a budget of Rs 39 crore, has raked in Rs 61.60 crores nett at the AP Box Office. It has become all time highest grosser Telugu movie in the state. The Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer movie has completed 50 days in 302 centers.

Attarintiki Daredi

Despite being leaked online before its theatrical release, Attarintiki Daredi, which has been made with Rs 40 crores, has collected Rs 57.73 crores nett at the AP Box Office in 38 days and has become the second all time highest grosser Telugu movie. Now, it is heading fast to beat the record of Magadheera.

Gabbar Singh

Gabbar Singh, which was made with a budged of Rs 28 crores, was released on May 11 and received an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. It has shattered all opening records of 81 years of Telugu Cinema. It has become the third all time highest grosser Telugu movie with its collection Rs 50.85 crores nett at the AP Box Office.

Dookudu

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Dookudu, which was made with a budget of Rs 38 crores, has collected Rs 41.80 crores nett at the AP Box Office in its lifetime. With the entry of Attarintiki Daredi, the Srinu Vaitla directed movie has slided down from third to fourth place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Mirchi

Prabhas starrer Mirchi is the new entry to the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies. The movie has collected Rs 39.9 crores nett at the AP Box Office and landed in the fifth place in the list.

Naayak

Ram Charan Teja starrer Naayak is another Blockbuster movie of the year 2013. The VV Vinayak-directed film has collected Rs 38.95 crores nett at the AP Box Office in its lifetime and landed in sixth place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, one of Blockbuster movies in Mahesh Babu, is another new entrant in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies. SVSC has raked in Rs 38.75 crores nett at the AP Box Office in its lifetime and graced seventh place.

Racha

Racha, which was in fourth place, has been pushed down to eight place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies in 2013. The movie has collected Rs 37.40 crores nett at the AP Box Office.

Robo

Rajinikanth's Robo, which is the Telugu version of his Tamil movie Endhiraan, has collected Rs 36.83 crores nett at the AP Box Office and landed in ninth position in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Baadshah

Junior NTR starrer Baadshah is the new entry of 2013 into the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies. The Srinu Vaitla-directed movie has raked in Rs 35.75 crores nett at the AP Box Office and graced 10th place.

Eega

Graphical action extravaganza Eega has opened to an overwhelming response at the AP Box Office. The SS Rajamouli-directed movie has collected Rs 35.63 crores nett in the state and graced 11th position in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Julayi

Allu Arjun's Julayi has pushed down from sixth place to 12th place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies. The movie has collected Rs 35 crores nett at the AP Box Office.

Pokiri

Pokiri was released with no buzz, but it shattered all previous collection records at Tollywood Box Office. The Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath's combo movie has collected approximately Rs 34 crores in 2006. It is in the 13th place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Jalsa

Jalsa was the first Telugu movie, which was released with 320 prints in 1,000 theatres. Pawan Kalyan movie, which was made with a budget of Rs 25 crore, has raked in Rs 33 crores and it is in the 14th place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Indra

Indra has approximately raked in Rs 31 crores nett at the AP Box Office. The Chiranjeevi starrer is in the 15th place in the list of all time highest grosser Telugu movies.

Brindavanam

Brindavanam is one of the biggest hits of Tollywood. The Junior NTR, Kajal Agarwal and Samantha starrer movie has collected Rs 28 crores in 2010. It has completed 50 days in 142 centers.
