The confusions over the female lead; who will be Mahesh Babu's sister-in-law and Venkatesh's wife in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC), has finally come to an end. Well, producer Dil Raju has announced that Anjali of Journey fame has been signed for the upcoming Telugu film.
It was earlier said that Amala Paul would be doing one of the female lead roles. But now we hear that the actress walked out of the film citing date issues. However, to put an end to all those speculation, Dil Raju announced that it is Anjali,who will be seen playing Venkatesh's love interest.
It may be recalled that the same role was offered to Trisha Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and many other actresses but they refused it for various reasons.
SVSC also features Samantha and it will start its regular shooting by this month end. The upcoming Telugu movie is directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Dil Raju.
