International R&B (rhythm & blues) singer Akon, who entered Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One, has bagged yet another Indian film. This time, he is not singing for a Hindi film rather a Telugu film. Well, he is all set to make his Tollywood debut with Mahesh Babu's The Businessman.
Akon has become a sensation among the youths even since his Bollywood song 'Chamak challo...' was released. Keeping this in mind, the makers of The Businessman decided to rope in for a song, which will be targeted at youngsters, says a source. Now, they have finalised the deal and soon he will be in Hyderabad to croon the number.
Music director Thaman, who is over the moon after the success of Dookudu, has confirmed the news about Akon's arrival to the Telugu film industry. He says that he is ready with two tunes out of which the international singer will lend his voice for one song. The musician concludes that he is raring to work with such a stalwart.
However, The Businessman, which is directed by Puri Jagannath, features Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
