Censor formalities were complete for Yagam directed by PA Arun Prasad, presented by Bharat Thakoor and produced by Praveen and Raju on the banner of Downtown Films with Navadeep, Bhumika and Kim Sharma in the lead. The producers are making efforts to release the film by the end of February.
Director says, “A major part of our film was shot in Bangkok. Not only songs, but also some key scene were shot there. Navadeep and Kim Sharma played the roles of waiters in a bar, while Bhumika play an air-hostess. The entire film revolves around these three characters. At the same time, it is not a triangular love story, but an action thriller. It is the story of a youth, who strongly believes that he is with life to perform a yagam."
Navadeep says, “I play a quite novel role in this film. I wish the film would get me a good break as hero." Ajay, Brahmanandam, Ali, Rahul Dev, Harshavardhan and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla and Anant Sriram, music is by Manisharma, camera is by Bharani K Dharan, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, action is by Selva and Jaika (Bangkok), while screenplay and direction are by PA Arun Prasad.
