Anushka playing the title role in Panchakshari directed by V Samudra, presented by Nagarjuna and produced by Bommadevara Ramachandra Rao (Chandra).Anushka says, "It is an extraordinary script. Samudra is moulding the subject on the celluloid excellently. The entire film would be very interesting. Each character in the film had its own identity and importance."
Producer Chandra says, "The shooting part of the movie was complete with the recent schedule in Rajahmundry. We are planning to launch the audio in the first week of April and are making efforts to release the film in the end of April."
Samrat (debut appearance), Nazar, Chandramohan, Brahmanandam, Pradeep Rawat, Ali, Raghubabu, MS Narayana, Jeeva, Benarjee, Uttej, Nalla Venu, Ravi Prakash, Subbaraya Sarma, Sudha, Sakuntala, Sana, Jayavani, Keerthi and others are in the cast. Camera is by Vasu, story is by Madhu Vipparthi, dialogues are by Thota Prasad while music is by Chinna.
