In Kotha Bangaru Lokam (KBL), Swetha Prasad Basu stole a lot of teenagers' hearts with her portrayal of a simple school going girl in love with her classmate. At a press meet after the release of KBL, Swetha dared to come in a slinky black dress slit upto her knees. But a few words from her producer saw her changing into a more demure T-shirt and jeans.

She has always expressed her readiness to act in glamorous roles as long the 'script demands it'. Recently, she was seen at the Sitara Awards in little black dress that just reached her knees. Quite a drastic change from the simple shy girl-next-door image of her debut Telugu film.

Swetha Prasad Basu was recently seen in the company of co-star Vaibhav (director-producer's Kodandarami Reddy's son). The two young actors are acting in a film directed by Kodadarami Reddy. Onlookers say that after the regular shooting schedule winds up for the day, Vaibhav and Swetha head for the nearest pizza outlet or coffee shop, were they spend a few pleasant hours talking and laughing.

But to all inquisitive questions, the two young stars reply a non-committal "We are just good friends." Another love story or a lasting friendship between two future superstars?
