Kalavaramaye Madilo with Swathi and Kamal

Mohan Media Creations which produced Mental Krishna, has launched Kalavaramaye Madilo with Swathi (Ashta Chemma heroine) and Kamal Kamaraju (Avakaya Biryani hero, also spelt Avakai Biriyani) in the lead. It will be produced by Mohan Vadlapatla and directed by Satish of Hope fame.

At the official launch on January 22nd at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad, producer Dil Raju released the logo of this film. Dil Raju had registered the title previously but gave it to Mohan Vadlapatla and Satish when he heard the film's story and thought this title would suit their script. The director thanked Dil Raju for his magnimonius gesture on the occasion of the film's muhurat. Satish also thanked Vadlapatla for agreeing to produce Kalavaramaye Madilo.

Kamal Kamaraju said that he had bagged a different kind of role from that of Avakai Biryani. He also praised the entire team of Kalavaramaye Madilo for their dedication. He said, "Kalavaramaye Madilo is about an aspiring singer, played by Swathi."

Malayalam music director Sarath is setting Vanamali's lyrics to music while dialogues are being penned by Lakshmi Bhupal.
 

Swathi has opted for Holidays

Swathi, who appeared in Colors, Danger, Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule and Ashta Chemma, will be the heroine of Holidays to be directed by S. Kumar. The film will feature four male leads and three female leads. Debutant Siva Nag is one of the heroes; actresses Roopa Kaur and Roja will the other two female leads. Holidays, to be produced by V. Ram Reddy and presented by the production company RCM Cine Chitra, is all set to begin shooting on September.....

Bhumika bags overseas rights

With many Telugu films gaining demand overseas, it has become a trend today in Telugu film industry that more and more artistes and directors are eyeing the overseas screening rights of their own films. Earlier, actor Raja, hero of Mr. Medhavi, bagged the overseas rights by paying Rs. 70 lakhs and Sekhar Kammula bought the overseas rights for Ashta Chemma from Mohanakrishna Indraganti. Now, sources say that Bhumika has bagged the overseas screening rights of upcoming Telugu flick Mallepoovu, scheduled.....
