Krishna Bhagwan dons a commando's role
Popular comedian Krishna Bhagawan is playing a commando in Vaa... (Needa) directed and produced by G Babu Ganesh under the banner of Thiraipuli TV Films, with himself playing the hero and Shilpa and Jyothi as the heroines. The shooting of the film was formally launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad recently. Popular producer C Kalyan gave the clap, while Jyothi Prasad switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised on the hero and heroines.

Speaking on the occasion, the director-cum-producer said, "I had directed a film called Nadigai in Tamil last year. I have good knowledge about the 24 crafts of the film industry. So far, I have directed and produced nine films, besides playing the hero in all of them. It is a suspense film. We are planning the first schedule in Hyderabad and next schedule in Colombo."

Krishna Bhagawan said, "After the director narrated the story over the phone, I agreed to it as I was impressed with the subject and my character. I play a different character in this film."

Music director Lakshmi Vinayak commented, "The film had a lot of scope for good music."

Kovai Sarala, Mumtaz, Anita, Hemasundar, Potti Rambabu, Ramireddy and others are in the cast. Camera is by YV Naveen Kumar, dialogues and lyrics are by Ponduri, while story, screenplay, editing, choreography, direction and production are by G Babu Ganesh.
