The film, also starring the versatile actor Prakashraj, has been titled Pratikshanam and was launched at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad at 10:30 a.m. (Rambha is currently acting in the Tamil film Vidiyum Varai Kathiru, which also stars Prakashraj) on the 13th .

Pallavi Srinivas produces the film. The camera will be handled by famous cinematographer of Tamil film industry, Panneer Selvam. Editing is by Swaraj Ravi.
