There are many versatile actors who fade away after just one hit and there are those who make an effort, work hard to gain a place in the film industry, and continue to shine for long.

Poonam Kaur of Oka Vichitram fame is one such star who almost slipped from audiences' memories after a couple of movies. Now she's back in action with an untitled film starring Anushka and Gopichand.

"I am ecstatic to be working with an accomplished actor like Gopichand. He is very humble, serious about his work and at the same time good fun to be with. This film will be a milestone in my career and I hope to get a footing in the industry with this project," Poonam declared.
