Kuberulu, subtitled 'Veeriki Annee Appulay', directed by Srinivasa Reddy, is being jointly produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas under Godavari Talkies banner starring Sivaji, Ali and Krishna Bhagawan. Currently the climax scenes are being shot at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.
Director Srinivasa Reddy explained to the press, "This is the story of three young men who wish they were the wealthiest people in the world. Then a small incident happens, transforming their lives. Like Tata and Biala Madhyalo Laila, I plan this movie to be an entertainer. The characters of the three heroes are equally important. L.B. Sriram appears in the role of a swami, Farzana is the female lead and she is the focal point of the entire movie. The post-production phase is scheduled to start from May 18."
Dr. Siva Prasad, Kausha, Raghubabu, Telangana Sakuntala are in the supporting cast.
Siva-Suresh is writing the story, Dasari Brahmam is penning the dialogues, Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar is writing the lyrics and Ram Pinisetty is the cinematographer. Music is by Jeevan Thomas.
