Maska (starring Ram, Hansika Motwaani and Sheela) is directed by B. Gopal and produced by M.S. Raju under Sumanth Art Productions banner. This is a youthful entertainer along the lines of Ready which starred Ram and Genelia.

Now, the buzz is that M.S. Raju has decided to distribute Maska throughout A.P. on the advice of his good friend D. Suresh Babu, who was impressed by the first cut. Previously, D. Suresh Babu had given similar advice to M.S. Raju regarding Manasantha Nuvve starring Uday Kiran and Reema Sen. Manasantha Nuvve was a runaway hit and boosted the career of Uday Kiran, a relative unknown before that.

Mukesh Rishi, Pradeep Rawat, Naresh, Jhansi, Brahmanandam, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Telangana Sakuntala, Ali, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, M.S. Narayana and Krishna Bhagawan are in the supporting star cast.

Story is by Surya, dialogues are by Paruchuri Brothers, cinematography is by Sekhar V. Joseph, editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, art is by Rajiv Nair, screenplay and production are by M.S. Raju, while Chakri has set Kandikonda's lyrics to music.

Maska is expected to release during Sankaranthi 2009.
