The shooting for the Mahesh Babu starrer movie Varudu to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the Kanakarathna Movies banner will hit the floors on August 4. The film will be a free make of the hit Hindi film Hum Tum.
The heroine and other star cast are yet to be finalized. The film is a romantic and action entertainer along the lines of Mahesh Babu's earlier films like Athadu and Okkadu. Mohan Babu and Sri Hari are playing prominent roles in the film. The film will be completed by year end and will be released in early 2009.
