Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by N.H. Bhaskar Reddy and Krishna Prasad under NH Rushya Productions banner, Ek Police starring Nagababu and Lakshana has almost wrapped up its post-production work.
The director recently briefed the press, "We are planning to release the film in the first half of October. Though several police stories have hit Telugu screens, this film will be different from all earlier ones."
The producers added, "Several social and political issues are examined deeply in the movie. However, there will be no criticism against any individual or political party. In fact, it is the combination of several incidents of contemporary society."
Bhushan, Dheeraj, Lakshman, Pradeep are the other young heroes in the movie, while Ali, Gayatri, Samrat, Suryacharan, Pruthvi, Satya Prakash, Dr. Siva Prasad, Ashok Kumar, Sudarshan, Visweswara Rao, Kanumuri and Koti are in the supporting star cast. Koti has composed the music.
This topical film comes at a time when Nagababu's brother, Chiranjeevi, is preparing for the forthcoming elections next year. He recently launched Praja Rajyam, of which he is the president.
