Chukka Kalyanram, who had produced Mantra with Sivaji as hero under the banner of GenNext Movies has launched another film called Diary with the same hero in association with Great Ocean Entertainments.
Machakanti Radhakrishna is making his debut as director through this movie, while Sraddha Das is playing the heroine. Bollywood heroine Mousami Udeshi is playing another heroine in the flick. The shooting of the film was launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on November 17. Director G Ramprasad gave the clap, while senior director Sagar switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of SV Krishna Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivaji said, "The film is being made with a thrilling subject. Story is very impressive. However, there are lots of variations between this film and Mantra."
Producer Kalyanram said, "Our earlier film Mantra has given us a lot of energy. We had thought of producing a further big film and we got the script of Diary. Each and every character has come out well. We are planning to release the film in March."
Director commented, "I have gained experience in direction by working as an associate with Vamsi and Sagar. We will launch the regular shooting from November 18 and the schedules were planned in Hyderabad, Bangkok and Kerala. Arun has given us an impressive story and I am sure that I will make use of this opportunity well."
Sridhar, Dr Sivaprasad, Jeeva, Srinivas, Harshavardhan, Kamal, Chinnkirksihna, Pavala Shyamala and others are in the cast. Cinematogrpahy is by V Srinivasa Reddy, editing is by Gauthamraju, art is by Vishaal, action is by Nandu, dialogues and direction are by Machakanti Ramakrishna, while Meghashyam Bokam is the presenter of the movie.
