The films Avakai Biriyani and Surya S/o Krishnan hit the screens on November 14. Both the films received criticism for some unduly lengthy scenes which affect the pace of the film. Keeping in mind the negative feedback regarding these scenes, the makers have trimmed the films to a considerable extent.
Avakai Biriyani has been trimmed by about 18 minutes and a song that appears before the climax has also been chopped. In Surya S/o Krishnan, the drug addiction scenes of the hero and other scenes have been cut. The film makers hope that the trimmed versions will be welcomed by the audience and the films will pick up at the box office.
