Adugu to romance familial relations

Telugu Film Adugu, starring debutants Samarendra and Richa Soni, was launched at Annapurna Studios on April 23, 2008. Directed by Veera Prasad Neelam, it is being produced by Bommakanti Madhavi and presented by Bommakanti Sudheer Babu under Mahdavi Art Productions banner.

Veteran actor Suman, who recently did a superb villain's role in Sivaji The Boss, is starring in a very important role. The film has been touted a complete family entertainer dealing mainly with the father-son relationship and how misunderstandings crop up between them. A romantic sub-plot also enlivens the story for younger audiences. The movie is under post-production right now.

Veeraprasad Neelam is debuting as director; he has also written the screenplay. Jeevan Thomas has composed music.

Anu on the verge of completion

Anusuya, the Telugu hit movie starring Bhumika Chawla, Abbas and Nikitha, is being remade in Kannada. The movie stars Pooja Gandhi and Rashmi, who shot to fame with Mugaru Male and Duniya respectively. The Kannada remake titled Anu, is a thriller produced by Balu. It is in post-production work and special effects were completed within 12 days at Rajan Special Effects Studio situated near Hebbal in Bangalore.
