New multi starrer 'Visakha Express'

The new film directed by Vara Mullpudi with Rajiv Kanakala, Allari Naresh, Preeti Jhangiani and Sindhu Tulani in lead roes has been titled Visakha Express. SS Rajamouli presents the film under Maxwell Entertainment banner. Executive producer said, "The shooting of the film was over with only today. The film has turned out well supported by a good story and a good pace. If all goes well, the film will be released during the second week of November."

The director said, 'The title was suggested by NT Rama Rao Jr. and it is apt for the movie. What happened in the Visakha Express is the big question over which the film story is built around. The screenplay, which has been written by Chandrasekhar Yeleti, will be a strongpoint for the film. Moreover, Vijay Kurakula has composed melodious tunes to all the songs.' The music director said, 'There are four songs in the movie. We will start re-recording October 15 onwards.'

Ali, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Vijayaranga Raju, Narsing Yadav, Melkote, Pardhasarathi, Gulmi and others are in the cast. The film camerawork is taken care of by PKH Das. The script is written by Harshavardhan while the lyrics to the songs are by Jonnavittula, Sahiti and Ananta Sriram. The film action sequences is by Ram-Lakshman. Ravindra Babu and Chandrashekar are the films editor.

Manjari to star in Maska

Manjari Phadnis has been signed on to star in an MS Raju production titled Maska, starring Ram and to be directed by B Gopal. She will be one of two heroines, similar to an under-production Allari Naresh film, in which she is one of two heroines.
