The Kerala-born actress Mamtha is certainly relishing the sweet smell of success. It seems that a plethora of opportunities have opened up for her in the Tollywood tinsel world, and she has shown alacrity in focussing on her Tollywood projects for a reason. With Nayantara very busy with her Kollywood assignments, and Asin concentrating on her Bollywood ventures, the only other leading actress left is Trisha, who is not in a position to take all opportunities. Hence, the numero uno position in Telugu cinema is up for grabs, and Mamatha might just prove lucky this time.
Right now, Mamatha has three Telugu films in the offing. She will pair up with Jagapathi Babu in the remake of the Hollywood film, The Departed, and then there is P. Vasu's untitled film with Mohan Babu's son, Vishnu. In the third film, she will act opposite the hero Nitin. Moreover, a spate of new offers seem to be in the pipeline for her.
