Diwali is known as the festival of lights. Going back to our roots, this festival has been celebrated in our nation for thousands of years. On this auspicious day, people light up diyas and candles all around their house, perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek divine blessings of the Goddess of Wealth.
In preparation of this festive occasion, the inmates of the Bigg Boss season 6 house got an apt task of making close to 1200 diyas for which they were divided in two teams. They make diyas out of a pottery wheel with their own hands. After making the diyas, they are asked by Bigg Boss to light them up and decorate the entire house.
A task of also painting the diyas was given to them to make it more visually appealing. The housemates are also seen anticipating a few gifts, sweets, clothes etc from their loved ones. Well, this festival of lights is surely going to help the housemates spread some love and happiness inside and outside the house.
