Though Salman-Mahek's rumoured relationship is still a mystery, something that might surprise you all is that Shonali Nagrani is all set to co-host the Big Boss 5 show along with Sanjay Dutt.
Shonali Nagrani who couldn't make it through the wild card entry, now got an opportunity to host the special eviction episode of New Year Eve. Since it has been considered as a full-fledged game plan to get back Mahek in the show at the last moment, it is alleged that Shonali backed out from the entire process, who was already aware of the plan.
Daily Bhaskar reports reveal a source quoting, "This was done as the makers were keen on more contestants inside the show for the finale to make it look good and crowded. So when they realized that the wild card contest may not materialize with Shonali backing out, the show closed the voting lines after the nominations on Monday evening to save an extra contestant inside. But the makers did not give up and kept convincing Shonali. Finally the makers and Shonali zeroed down to a barter deal."
The source adds, "The deal was that Shonali will get in the wild card entry contest and the makers will give her a chance to co-host the 'Aapka Farmaan" eviction episode on New Year eve, along with Sanjay Dutt. Apparently Shonali discussed this barter deal with Laxmi, who knew about this entire exercise to make Mahek"s re-entry look credible on Bigg Boss."
When contacted Shonali, she confirmed the news of her co-hosting the show with Sanjay Dutt.
