Actor Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting the fifth season of the popular reality quiz show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati.' Confirming the news the actor wrote on his micro-blogging site yesterday, “Preparing now for 'KBC' next season starting I think in a few months... creative and promo discussions today ... very interesting."
'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is based on UK game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'. The show started in the year 2000 with Amitabh Bachchan as the host. In no time 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' turned out to be the highest rating program on Indian television.
Amitabh, later was replaced by superstar Shahrukh Khan in the third season of the show. However, Big B returned to the show in the fourth season, which was then aired on Sony TV. The actor after doing season 4 of 'KBC', was approached for hosting season five. Amitabh then asked for his fans opinion through his blog and twitter account.
