Ulka Gupta, who achieved considerable amount of fame after her portrayal of Mannu in Zee TV's 'Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani", will now be seen on the TV screen in a new avatar. The popular Imagine channel has got plans to air a special episode on the Holy occasion of Janmashtami and this is where the aforementioned Ulka will be seen giving a dazzling performance.

A source, close to the show, says that Ulka Gupta will be seen in the Special Episode of the show 'Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chaaon Mein". She would also be given a different kind of role and would be celebrating Janmashtami. Ulka will be seen dancing along with Rashmi Desai from 'Uttaran".

When Ulka was contacted, she did confirm her participation in the show and also said that Rashmi would also be performing with her. They would be dancing to the tunes of the song from the movie Lagaan, Madhuban Mein. Ulka adds that she enacted Lord Krishna, while Rashmi was Radha. She praised Rashmi"s dancing skills and she thinks that the latter is a fantastic dancer.

Ulka also has plans to come back to the television screen and she also says that her father is waiting for a high quality role for her.
