It was reported that Sreejita De will be essaying the main lead role of Iccha in the show Uttaran on Colors. But the latest buzz is that she is now being replaced by the channel and they have already started with the hunt for new Iccha. As per our khabroo, “Sreejita was finalised to essay the role of Iccha after the leap but now it"s been decided that she will be replaced. The channel has already started the hunt for the same."

A person close to Sreejita on anonymity states that, “Sree is taken a back with this news. Nothing officially was announced about this. Nor the producer, neither the channel has given any statement to her." Another source confronts that, “Channel has never given confirmation on the news that Sreejita is playing Iccha."

The shooting for the same has been kept postponding. “The producer and the channels wants to grab in more eye balls from the kids and thus they are trying to play with the story more. Initially they were suppose to start the shoot with the elder character in May but now till the shoot has been delayed and the team is planning to start the shoot some where in the mid of June," concludes our source. We called the producer of Film Farm, Pintoo Guha and he said, “I"m busy in meeting so call me tomorrow." We tried calling Sreejita but she was not available for the comments.
