The wait is finally over. From Monday, June 29th, NDTV Imagine will play host to bride-to-be Rakhi Sawant and 16 potential grooms on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, the show that India is waiting to watch Fem presents Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, the first of its kind reality show on Indian television will air at 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday only on NDTV Imagine.
The beautiful Fatehgarh Palace and the city of Udaipur is the perfect backdrop to the show. Known for its splendid palaces and timeless tales of love and valour, Udaipur is the host city for Rakhi"s Swayamvar. Announcing the launch of the show says Nikhil Madhok, VP Marketing and Communications, NDTV Imagine, “Rakhi"s dream is to get married like a princess. After an exhaustive round of auditions, we have finalized 16 potential grooms and have brought them together for the Swayamvar in the beautiful city of Udaipur at the Fatehgarh Palace. The show has some very exciting elements and is sure to capture the imagination of audiences as Rakhi begins her special journey of finding her life partner."
Rakhi Ka Swayamvar will sketch the matrimonial journey of Rakhi Sawant. Over the duration of the show, the 16 prospective grooms will be brought together under one roof and put through a series of challenges that have been created keeping in mind the criteria identified by Rakhi herself. Each week, the grooms will showcase their personality, character; physical fitness and talent, all in an endeavour to demonstrate their love for Rakhi.. And eventually Rakhi will tie the knot with one lucky guy in a grand ceremony that will be a fitting finale to this unique voyage.
As she begins this exciting journey, Rakhi says “I am very nervous and excited at the same time. This is such an important decision and I hope I am able to find the right man who will be my partner through the rest of my life. I am relying on my friend Ram and all my well wishers to help me through this important phase in my life. Udaipur and the Fateh Garh Palace are such wonderful and beautiful locations and I could not have dreamed of a better place for my swayamvar. I have briefly met all the prospective grooms and they are all very nice but I really can"t say right now as to who will be my final choice. The 16 prospective grooms that have shortlisted from across the length and breadth of the country through an extensive audition process include Kapil Mathur , Luv Khanna, Manas Katyal, Pranav Damle, Ather Parvez Mallik, Ashwin Choudhari, Deepak Raghav, Chitiz Jain, Elesh Parujanwala, Manmohan Tiwari, Ali Bana, Raj Kripal Singh, Aman Talwar, Rishi Dwivedi, Atirek Sharma and Raman Handa. Fem presents Rakhi Ka Swayamavar airs on NDTV Imagine from June 29th at 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Hosting this unique show is one of television"s most well known actor 'Ram Kapoor". In a never seen avtaar, Mr. Kapoor will take on a whole new role as the host on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. Apart from hosting the show, Ram will multi-task as Rakhi"s friend, philosopher and guide.
