It has all along been Rakhi Sawant who has regularly taken digs at Elesh Parujanwala after she got engaged to him on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. But for the first time the Canadian NRI has broken his dignified silence and slammed his once bride-to-be Rakhi. Elesh who had come to Mumbai to set up a business is deeply hurt by Rakhi's regular outburst and attempts to malign his image in front of the media.

Elesh said that he tried his best to understand Rakhi and make the relationship work but he has failed. He said he tried to know her past and adjust with her lifestyle but there was no cooperation from the item girl's part. He accused Rakhi of never attempting to understand him and having developed a notion about NRIs watching Bollywood movies. Elesh who is taking part in the reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh with Rakhi said she was unable to separate reel life from real.

Slamming Rakhi's argument that he wasn't financially stable he said he was studying and had decided not to take money from his parents and be independent. He said he was shocked when Rakhi even had problems settling in his home town Toronto. He said he wasn't wrong in asking her to settle there and have kids with her. Elesh said it was only his family's support that has not let him go into depression as any other man trying to have a relationship with Rakhi would surely suffer from depression.
