Deepika Padukone is the celebrity guest on Indian Idol this week. It is always a delight to meet this long legged beauty. Down to earth and a sport, she did not tire to shake a leg with the Indian Idol contestants no matter how many times she was called on stage. In fact she, like Priyanka Chopra, does not hesitate to croon whenever an opportunity arises. So she sang too and got the green signal from the judges and Anu Malik pronounced her the next Indian Idol.
Her talents do not end there. She trained in the martial arts for eight months for Chandni Chowk to China "So that the fight sequences with Akshay Kumar looked good!" On the spur of the moment she told the girls of Indian Idol, "I will show you girls a trick" and she did go up on stage and demonstrated a sleek cut so that they can defend themselves.
