TV reality game show 'Sach Ka Saamna' has landed at a trouble after BJP and SP MPs demanded the government to ban the show on Wednesday. The parliamentarians claimed that the reality game show is broadcasting vulgar values and it is a threat to Indian values and morality.

The MPs said that the questions asked on the show were outrageous. The SP"s Kamal Akhtar raised the issue in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. He said that the contestants are being asked 'obscene questions' about their personal lives in front of their family members. Citing an instance, he claimed that the show was against “Indian culture".

Kamal Akhtar further blamed another TV serials 'Balika Vadhu' on Colors that it is allegedly showing the advantages of child marriage. He demanded the government that 'Balika Vadhu' should be taken off air. The BJP MPs SS Ahluwalia, Najma Heptullah, Prakash Javadekar and Shiv Sena"s Sanjay Raut supported Kamal Akhtar.

They urged the govt to ban the show in order to stop the blatant abuse of Indian cultural ethos. Finally, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan agreed with the MPs. He said that the government should take note of this 'serious' issue.

The legal experts claim that the government can not ban any TV show. It can only issue notice to the TV channel to stop broadcasting the show. So the experts say that Such Ka Saamna can not be banned by government.

However, the reality TV show 'Sach Ka Saamna" is all about unearthing hidden truths of people in full public view. The show has been inspired by its foreign counterpart 'The Moment of Truth'. The participants of 'Sach Ka Saamna" should be ready to disclose their private moments on the live show.

I guess MPs are really scared that they could be invited to the show and their all the corrupt deeds would be there in front of the public...i believe that those who are saying that the show should be banned should be challenged to participate in it so that we really know how much truth these MPs say who are running our nation.

i guess our MPs dont have any work hence are aiming their guns at TV industry to get some mileage and in a way please- Fundamentalist and Orthodox creatures. SKS is a platform to face one's hard facts of life..the truth which they have hidden for ages.People are not forced into disclosing their truths. if u r not comfortable than can leave the show or best just dont participate. our society is full of hypocrites.they would watch pron n hidden secrets of people but when it comes to faicng them we take the shelter behind our DEGRADED CUSTOMS N TRADITIONS, which by now should have become a thing of past yet thanxs to these Netas they r still thriving n growing. Govt will make a fool of its if it imposes a stricture on SKS. moreover, i guess show comes late in night-10.30pm. so how come kids or these cultured people still watching it not other serials.dont they have anything else to do in their life..than just jumping to grab their 15min media fame.

It is notabout the participants participating in the reality show. It is about the viewing public which gets influenced or affected by such shows. Perverts can participate in any kind of reality shows for the money, publicity and 2 minutes of fame it brings. but these kind of shows definitely affects the values of society and should be banned. all human being have weaknesses. but these TV reality shows are making giving these weaknesses and vices a coat of respectability and making virtue out of vices. We as a society are coming to accept all human vices in the guise of personal freedom and perverted virtues. this already has immensely damaged our society. all the TV shows that cater to base feelings should be banned. One need to face truths oneself with their own relations who are affected by his actions. One need not flaunt his weaknesses and vices in front of whold world to titiliate impressionable minds.

i do not agree to this because sks is providing a platform and indirectly a courage to put out all the worries and hesitations that people use to have due to their hidden truths and the scareness to speak the truth. Moreover balika vadhu is not the one showing the advantages of child marriage but it is the one showing that how the customs are destroying the life of the childs by snatching the beauty of their childhood.

i do not agree to this. inspite of appricating the hard work of the people who are getting something new with learing methods rather than just sas bahu serials.. One should have courage to speak truth in front of camera. Also, Balika Vadhu is one ofthe fact which is still alive in a corner of our country.
