The audience might have felt Rahul Mahajan's ego cost him the winner's title in Bigg Boss but his house mate has a different story to tell. Zulfi rubbishes popular belief that Rahul's departure from the show was a charity for others but said the son of late BJP politicians left the show out of fear. The actor added that Rahul did not see any chance of his winning the show so preferred to leave the show just ahead of the grand finale and create a hype around himself.

On Ashutosh Kaushik's winning the show Zulfi maintained that Ashutosh was one of the most popular contestants in the show and the audience had voted for him and thus he deserved to win. Zulfi denied that Bigg Boss was a scripted show and said that everyone in the house were competing against each other. On his career front the actor revealed that he had a few scripts in hand and was carefully going through them.
