The Mumbai terror attacks are India's 9/11. India is traumatized, corporate citizens are outraged. No one knows what"s next for 'Maximum City"? What"s next for us distressed citizens? Wake up and do something about it today! Unless we take some affirmative steps, we can"t do anything to protect our country.

In wake of this situation, NDTV Profit has launched a movement titled 'Ideas for Change', which marks the beginning of a campaign seeking progressive change. Through this campaign, NDTV Profit invites everyone to join in, to get answers to the questions we all raise about security, intelligence, infrastructure, corporate activism and crisis management. To find answers to vital questions like: What is the government doing? And, how can corporate India work with the government to put systems in place? We need to change! We need your ideas!

Speaking on the launch of the campaign, Shivnath Thukral, Managing Editor, NDTV Profit, said, 'The threat to India is intensifying and the recent attack on Mumbai has shaken not just corporate citizens of Mumbai but everyone across the country. But now the time has come for citizens of India to take a pledge and join hands to curb this growing menace. Through this campaign we aim to reach out to one and all and give them a chance to share their constructive ideas, views and suggestion on how to fight terrorism. We want CEOs to use their experience in drafting a blueprint which will help us all to contain this terror. I urge every corporate citizen, every Indian to take a step forward and join us in this campaign."

As part of this campaign, the channel will host a special show called 'Ideas for Change" at 10:30 pm everyday starting 1st Dec 2008 anchored by Shaili Chopra, where she would invite top CEOs and officials from India Inc. and seek their ideas calling for a change towards solving this grave problem. This campaign is not only limited to television but will also go live on the web, on mobiles and on ground.

Dear all thanks to ndtv people for making it to think people about whats happend in our maximum city during last month .... i think still we are lacking without a firm foundation of a proper system .as well we should put an end for this show which is from this terror people. we should make our intelligence more systamatic not hypocratic.... we are in second place in the population but what happens when it comes to peoples safety life who is going to be the responsible for these kind of assultness, from where it is, from the government or from the people , b cos without the people there is no government ... so we are the great nations people to think about it and to elect the right people . sorry for the gramatical mistake but this mistake is not that much bigger than the government's mistake in this issue ...thank u santhuhindustani

put an end to the power game which has become a mafia in politics which is more dangerous then the terrorists few of leaders already fell they are untuchable they are not concernd for the people the nation or the devlopment of the country their only concern is to save their power or the kurchi(chair) or to topple the people in power and they are shame less enough to go any extent as a solution i can suggest that let the head of the states like CM and PM be elected by the print and electronic meadia on the basis of the most popular celebtrety state and national level leaving rest of the MP's and the MLA's be elected by the people under the constuancy hence putting a check on the figh for kurchi if its a war being a petrotic ifell like take a sward and put an end to this mess but i am confused with my enemy i am sorry for spelling mistakes but does the spells makes diffrence when the hearts are burning???

India can save a lot of money which is squandered in elections. Candidates standing for elections should only use the electronic / print media for their manifesto and not travel by air or hold rallies which is a colossal waste of precious money. • All that money can be utilized for the betterment of our citizens and country. • This will also weed out corruption during elections. • Good and clean candidates who do not have any financial / political backing can stand for elections. In short, our political system / election process needs a change to suit our specific needs. We should not blindly follow the political structure of other affluent nations who know how to keep their politicians in check.
