It is not the day long battles that troubles the young actor but the girls who await to propose him and the cute, innocent kid just doesn't know what to say when girls tell him they love him. Rajat Tokas, born in July 19, 1990, came under limelight when he was casted for the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in the series Dharti ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan.
When Rajat Tokas started shooting for Dharti ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, he had no idea that one role would turn him into a role model of sorts for kids and many others. Not just because its his first acting stint, but also because Rajat is just 14 years old! As Prithviraj Chauhan, he fights wars and wages battles,but in real life he's just another teenager who prattles on when given a chance. "In the beginning it was just meant to be a small role but later,when the character got so popular they increased the length of my role. I've done around 150 episodes by now, he says with a hint of pride in his voice.
He has studied in the D.A Higher Secondary School , R.K.Puram, Delhi. Due to his hectic schedule as an actor, he is currently studying through correspondence for over 7-8 months. Currently studying in standard tenth, Rajat manages to study with the help of notes from his friends. Till last year it was fine but how will he manage now that he will be required to give his board exams? Oh I'll manage,he says easily and then adds, I read my notes during any free time I get. And my parents help and encourage me a lot.
Some time ago, there had been a sort of controversy over Rajat's age as some interview claimed him to be 13 years old and another said he was 16. Yes but I'm 14, he adds firmly and then adds a cute smile.
Rajat is very happy with the role of Prithviraj. "When I started shooting for it, I didn't know much about him. Now I realize what an important role he played in history." says Rajat. The young actor has another project up his sleeve, but he refuses to divulge details. "Let' talk when it finalizes." he says. For a 14 year old, he sure knows how to talk like a veteran!
Rajat has other works also to add to his credit. His main works are Jadui Chiraag, Light House For Children, Bango, Mera Dost, Rahul, Ek Nazar Ki Tamanna, Hey Hawain, Khoj Khajane Ki, Abhivyakti, Saibaba, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan.
