Nazneen Patel is all set to play the role of a journalist in 'Main Aisi Kyun Hoon', produced by Paresh Rawal. The name of this character is Sanjana Pushpa Patil, and she writes a column called Pyaar Love, but her own love life is non-existent.
"I had to do a lot of homework to convert myself from Patel to Patil," Nazneen says, "It is a story of a typical Maharashtrian girl from Shivaji Park, who has lost everything – her father, love, family – but not the hope and confidence in herself."
Apparently, Nazneen is especially excited about the fact that she does not cry at all, nor sulk, but moves on with each passing tragedy. She is always smiling, and it is also exciting that the character is a Maharashtrian one, she adds. Nazneen was last seen in 'Bhabhi', as Megha.
The show will be aired on Sahara One. Sources say that the channel has a concept for a reality show, where professional singers team up with amateurs, like 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja'. Apparently, Asha Bhonsle is being considered for one of the judges.
