Ekta Kapoor's "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" is on the verge of a major turn of events with the clash between the generations becoming visibly large. Pandora's box is opened and the past is brought face to face with the present. Mandira, the evil herself has made a dramatic comeback to rip up the Virani family and Shantiniketan. With her vengeance against Tulsi, she plans every move to fulfill her malicious motives.

Ansh's tragic death and the gory past has resurged much to Tulsi's anticipation of a whirlwind in the offing. Mandira with Abhir's help staged a drama akin to Ansh's death. Tulsi unaware of the trap fell an easy prey to it and blurted out the truth on the spur of the moment with both Bhoomi and Eklavya witnessing the entire drama. Bhoomi and Eklavya shattered by the reality can hardly accept the truth and tend to sympathize with their dead father. Bhoomi who had been waiting for an opportunity to revolt against Tulsi, coupled with the burning desire to avenge her father's death, seizes the opportunity. She vows to wage a battle against her grandmother and thus get the better of her.

Tension builds up and Bhoomi openly insults Tulsi with no regard even for the latter's age. Bhoomi teams up with Mandira and plans to do away with Tulsi once and for all. She goes to the severe extent of planning to throw acid on Tulsi, which is ironically 'Gangajal' for her. Ansh on the other hand unable to let out the bottled up feelings cannot decide anything and sets out on a path to unearth the truth for himself.

Nandini who has not been able to recover herself from the dark shadows of Ansh's cruelties mistakes Eklavya for Ansh. Eklavya follows Nandini only to find her locked in embrace with Karan. Misconceptions inevitable as they are, overpower Eklavya as well and his justifications for his dead father are poignant indeed.

Tied up with the main plot the sub-plot also bears equal significance. History keeps repeating forever as the Laksh - Krishna Tulsi - Eklavya triangle reaches a major climax as Krishna Tulsi and Laksh come to know the truth. Eklavya who had been hiding his love for Krishna Tulsi cannot confront the situation.

Kyunki with its second-generation leap has a host of new characters and new artists showcasing their talents. Reshmi Ghosh as Bhoomi has essayed her role to utmost perfection bringing in the sneer, coldness and hatred to its zenith with an effortless ease. While the war is on between Tulsi and Bhoomi in the serial, both Smriti and Reshmi are doing complete justice to their roles. Kyunki has to tread long winding path before ceasefire is finally declared.

Kunnathur is a remote village. The entire village is very well aware of the intense enmity between Shridharan and Raman Nair. Both are brothers. Elder brother Shridharan Nair has been the Panchayat president for the past ten years. The younger sibling Raman Nair has always been his opposition leader.

Enmity however is confined only to the two, thankfully. Their wives are very good friends. Both.....
