Rudrakshas encircling the neck, tilak adorning the forehead, eyes smeared with kaajal and locks strewn in the breeze; she makes a majestic re-entry with all her maliciousness and viciousness. The mystery woman has come out from hiding to lay bare her clutches on the Virani parivaar, Tulsi in particular. "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" on Star Plus is undergoing a dramatic climax with Mandira's comeback to malign the Viranis. The lady has come to get her revenge on Tulsi whom she believes has snatched her love Mihir and her son Karan away from her. The devil incarnate, Mandira plots against Tulsi with Bhoomi as her pawn and Abhir as her right-hand man. Together they implement a foolproof plan to trap Tulsi and thus bring back the vestiges of the gory past to the present. Tulsi, who was aware of an impending danger looming over her family, could not have guessed even in the wildest of her nightmares that Mandira whom they had considered to be dead in an accident was actually alive to take vengeance on them.
Tulsi has always stood boldly in the face of any danger that is to rip apart her family into pieces. Her unwavering courage and motivation has seen her through all the odd times. Now even in her old age she is all ready to fight against any person who casts an evil eye on her family. Ansh's tragic death has cast a black shadow over the Virani parivaar and Tulsi has tried desperately to safeguard both Bhoomi and Eklavya, Ansh's children from the bitter truth of their father's death. Unfortunately with Mandira's arrival, Tulsi's hopes are shattered and she is forced to come out with the truth to Bhoomi, whose disgust and contempt she can no longer bear.
With Abhir to help her in her evil ploys, Mandira unleashes a dirty game, reminiscent of the past, the murder of Ansh and Tulsi falls prey to the whole plot. Bhoomi not able to come to terms with the bitter truth of her parenthood snaps back at Tulsi who is utterly helpless. Eklavya in hiding also comes face to face with the truth.
The cat is out of the bag! Mandira has taken her revenge and she feels that finally she has got the much-awaited justice. It is ironical when a woman like Mandira who is hell-bent upon perpetrating injustice upon others actually sermonizes about the value of justice.
