Deepak Tijori in Bigg Boss cast

Mumbai (UNI): Actor-director Deepak Tijori has joined the cast of Sony Television's reality show 'Bigg Boss' replacing cricketer turned actor Salil Ankola. Ankola was ousted from the show after the High Court upheld Balaji Telefilm's appeal that the actor be restrained from being part of the show as he was acting in its daily soap 'Karam Apna Apna'.

Balaji Telefilms had accused Ankola of violating the contract he had entered into with the company saying that he would not act in any serial or with any channel which was in direct competition with Balaji for a period of 12 months after the first episode of the serial being aired. Balaji had approached the arbitration tribunal first and later moved the High Court for a stay on Ankola's association with Bigg Boss till the tribunal gives its verdict.'
