Big Boss: Reality ShowBig Boss, Sony Television's reality show has the nation glued to the television screen with gamut of emotions and drama unveiled from Monday to Friday. Big Boss the indianized version of the Big Brother has amassed delirious views across the country as star contestants face eviction one by one. The show anchored by actor Arshad Warsi has all the suspense elements with tension, surprise, melodrama, fun and frolic.

Deepak Prashar walked out with good cheer rallying for the value systems he tried to inculcate among the inmates of the home. As moments of swelling tension passed by on Friday night, Deepak was shown the way out of Big Boss' house. Deepak was one among the three picked up for elimination, and as fate decreed Rupali Ganguly and Ravi Kissen were spared. Last week Bobby Darling had lost to Deepak during the final phase of eviction on Friday. Bobby Darling's stoic exit left many moist eyes probing into the screen for Bobby looked forward to do a sex operation with the prize money. Deepak's patronising attitude and father image never went well with the inmates.

The whooping success the reality show has garnered over the short time period is ample testimony to the popularity it enjoys. The celebrities who share the same roof are caught in precarious situations and the humour is the reality the show pictures. The stars without any aid and spot boys have to fend for themselves no make-up artistes, no cooks, cooking food, managing their provision, and performing the tasks doled to them by Big Boss they are presented in their true selves. Delving into the politics behind the relations the celebrities indulge in backbiting, gossiping and minor scuffles.

Deepak Tijori was the latest entrant to the house replacing Salil Ankola who had violated a contract he made with Star Plus and Ekta Kapoor while acting in Karam Apna Apna. Deepak Tijori tried to exude optimistic air among the inmates, learning to cope with the stress, and mastering the skill of washing clothes from Ravi using Ariel! . Kashmira Shah was not in favour of her own vow to eschew bad-mouthing. Rupali the crybaby has not changed for better or for worse, while Ravi is slowly perfecting the art of managing his temper. The survival tactics vary for each one.

The show has its share of surprises too as Rakhi Sawant nominated Kashmira Shah her gossip chum for eviction. Rakhi Sawant is the chosen one among celebrities (Smriti Irani, Yukta Mookhey, Milind Soman, Archana Puran Singh, etc) who opted out of Big Boss for her simplicity and freaky mentality in spite of her outlandishness. The show has become the hot pick of the time when stars sans make-up come up with their true colours inching every moment to strive till the end to win the prize. Reality grips every moment and hardly a moment spared without suspense and the all-surveying eye of Big Boss.
