It is a big day for comedian Santhanam. After working in the industry for several years, he is turning hero with Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (Vallavanuku Pullum Aayudham). As a result, the latest flick has turned out to be a very important movie in his career.

Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham has been making positive buzz. The makers of the film have promoted the flick very well and made people wait for the release of the flick. Especially, the presence of maverick Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the creator of the original version, gave good publicity to it.

The Tamil film is directed by Srinath and produced by Prasad V Potluri in association with Santhanam. Ashna Zaveri plays the female lead role and Mirchi Senthil, Nagineedu, Ravi Prakash, VTV Ganesh and others are in the cast. Richard M Nathan is the cinematographer and Siddharth Vipin is the music director.

First Half Analysis

The first half is decent and keeps you entertained at most part of the film. And it is serious and people, who have seen Santhanam in light-hearted roles, will find it difficult to seen the comedian in such serious role.

Second Half Analysis

The second half is packed with sentimental and emotional sequences. And the climax part is melodramatic. Comparatively with the first half, the second half is pretty dull due to blant screenplay.

Santhanam's Peformance

Santhanam has successfully graduated from a comedian to a hero with Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham. He shines in dance, romance and comedy sequences. His performance is not upto the mark in the emotional sequence.

Others' Performance

Ashna Zaveri has tried to live her best. Other supporting artistes have done justice to their roles.

Music

Siddharth Vipin's two songs are good. Our picks are 'Rail ade' and 'Otrai devathai'. His background score is good.

Cinematography

Richard M Nathan's cinematography is praise worthy. Rest other departments have done justice to their roles.

Verdict:

Verdict: Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham is a good entertainer for family audience and Santhanam fans.
