Having sequels or film franchise is something new in Tamil films. It is considered as a risky business by a section of filmmakers in Kollywood. Well, producer CV Kumar, who had delivered superhit movie Pizza with budding team last year, decided to take a chance by making Pizza 2: Villa and it has worked out well for him!

With a bunch of young guns, CV Kumar has made Pizza: 2 Villa. In the days to come, many will take inspiration from it and try to build their own franchise.

Pizza: 2 Villa is crisp and an edge-of-the seat thriller. The latest movie complex and deceiving than the first instalment and it is not a sequel to Pizza. Layers Of Deception

Audience will witness three layers of deception and they will be surprised when the story starts getting unravelled.

Difficult To Comprehend

Pizza 2: Villa gives hints to understand the climax and many would not find easy to comprehend the story when they see the flick for the first time.

Unexpected Scenes

There are many unexpected scenes and people would only realise the necessity of the scene only if they rethink and analyse scene by scene.

Run Time

The run time of Pizza 2: Villa is 1 hour and 42 minutes. Indeed, it is the shortest Tamil movie in the recent years.

Dull Moments

Well, Pizza 2: Villa too has its own share of problems. There are a few dull moments in the flick and a section of audience may not appreciate it.

Director Gets Credit

Firstly, the credit for churning out a brilliant movie should go to director and newcomer Deepan Chakravarthy.

Technical Team At Its Best

Deepan Chakravarthy has also brought out the best from his technical team and it comes as a big plus point to the flick.

Performances

Performance wise, Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty are just okay. One would expect actors to set a perfect mood with their emotions in this genre and the duo, though budding actors, doesn't emote well.

Editing Department

The biggest hero is editor Leo John Paul. His crisp editing stands out as a winner.

Music Department

Santosh Narayanan has delivered an extraordinary background score for Pizza 2: Villa. And also his songs are short, which doesn't distract the audience.

Cinematography

Deepak Kumar's cinematography is outstanding. His camera movements and angles are brilliant.

Verdict

Watch Pizza 2: Villa without any expectation and enjoy the thrilling ride.
