[an error occurred while processing this directive]Indira Vizha is a poor remake of Hollywood flick Disclosure and the remake version of the same in Hindi by Abbas Mastan as Aitraaz.
The story goes like this... Santosh Sreenivasan (Srikanth) who works as a programmer at a private television channel is sued for sexual harassment by his former lover turned boss Kamini (Namitha) who initiated the act forcefully. This threatens both his career and his personal life.
Meanwhile, one of Santhosh"s reporters, Ragasiya, crazy about spy cams, had secretly recorded everything, including the attempted seduction. Knowing this, Nasser, the business tycoon and Kamini's husband kills Ragasia to bury the secrets about his wife's personal life. How Santosh comes out from the case is the climax of the film.
The introductory scene, where Namitha lands in a red helicopter, while a gang of men stand in pucca suit in a wide grass land gives a good impression at the beginning. But after a few scenes, the picturisation exposes the director's cheap business tricks to make money out of Namitha's glamour.
The screenplay is completely crap and senseless. Namitha has done her part well and has given good skin show. But in a few scenes she goes overboard with her busty appearance. All the other actors have pulled off good performances, especially Srikanth, Radha Ravi and Vivek. Especially Vivek has saved the film in the last few minutes. But Y Ge Mahendra irritates a lot in the court scenes. Particularly his body language and Malayalam mixed Tamil slang tests the tolerance of viewers.
The remix of 'Oru kinnathai endhugirein" from Vasantha Maligai is a big shock for the music lovers.
