Thollai Pesi: A film with a timely Message
Some people lead their lives without any ambition, very few actually live with principles and discipline. If an unprincipled person decides to reform himself, will the society allow him to have his way? To know the answer to this question, wait for the release of Thollai Pesi, directed by a new face Panneer Selvam, a one time assistant of the veteran Fazil. Vikramadithya is acting as the hero and Priyanka of Veyyil fame will be his pair in the movie. The main theme of the story deals with how the mobile phones and other communicative equipment function to the disadvantage of mankind these days.

Panneer Selvam, the director, told us, 'one cannot find any resemblance between this film and my mentor Fazil's films. The basic flavour in his movies was sentiment and passion. But in my film, I have given more importance to comedy and conveying a message. Apart from Priyanka, two more glamour girls are being introduced in this film. Karuna is playing a vital, yet comic role, which will amuse the audience. Usually it is the hero who changes his get-up depending on the situation in a film. But for a change, the hero's father in this movie will change his get-ups in each frame. Nizhazgal Ravi is playing in the father's character...'

Shooting for the film is underway, and 70 percent of it has already been shot at Munnar, Ooty and Pondicherry. New music director Shantha Kumar will score the music, and D.Shankar is handling the camera. This film is the first venture of the Blue Water Movie Makers.

Scarlett Johansson finds commitment difficult

Scarlett Johansson finds monogamy "hard work". The 'Lost In Translation' actress doesn't think it is natural to have just one sexual partner, but insists her views don't mean she is "promiscuous". Scarlett said in an interview with Glamour magazine: "Contrary to popular belief, I'm not promiscuous. There seems to be a mistaken belief that I’m sexually available somehow - which is not to say I'm not open minded about sex. Yet I wouldn't say I'm a serial.....
